Highs and Lows

Hey! Due to all my new English speaking friends, I'll now write my blog in English! So, welcome to my english blog, I hope you'll enjoy it!

It feels weird but at the same time totally right.. I am in Australia to learn english so why wont I go all in in every way I can?

The last couple of weeks have been quite tuff, I've had a lot to do and think about. That's why I've chosen to skip writing blogposts. Instead I've dealing with a conflict between me and the school at the same time that I've had to do my writng tasks, presentations, travell planning and train. The conflict is about me beeing disappointed about the photography class... When I booked the trip, my EF counsellor confirmed that I would be able to study photography everyday for my whole stay, but when I arrived, I wasn't even in the photography class, and I will only be able to study photo for six weeks out of 4 mounth... Thats why I've been quite unsatisfied with the school so far and that have given me trubbles to really enjoy the trips that I've done so far...  I've considered to end my education erlier because of this and to have all this thoughts in my head have disturbed all the fun things that I've done.

The problem isn't solved yet but EF is working on a solution. The solution would be to apply for a photography course that's not "connected" to EF. So now I'm looking for an education, but it's very difficult to find anything. I hope this will be solved soon cause right now I'm exhausted and I have no energy to think of it.

But let's talk about something funny instead! It's been almost two weeks since I last posted a post and in the time of two weeks there will happen a lot if you're in Australia.

The major trips I've done is to Mt Tamborine, Glass House Mountains and The Great Barrier Reef. I think I'll do a seperate post about the Barrier Reef because it was something really speciall. But about the Mountains...

Last weekend I went to Mt Tamborine with EF. It's a huge national park with waterfalls in the jungle and a Skywalk in between the trees. We went to see and swim by the waterfalls and then walk the skywalk. I love the Australian jungle. It's so different to what we have in Sweden. The colours are so bright and green, the sound is exotic and the trees are so tall. For me it's like in a movie. It was also really cool to bath under the waterfalls and we also jumped out of a cliff, just beside the fall at least five meters up. That was scary and fun and gave me a lot of adrenaline!

The trip to The Glass House Mountains (a collection name for several mountains in a National Park) I did togeather with  Amanda (from Sweden) and Tillman (from Germany). We hired a car, took one day of from school and headed to the mountains. Our plan was to run for an hour and then clibe Mt Beerwah. We followed the plan really good in the beginning; we ran around the mountains and up on one but when we should climb the Beerwah our plan got destroyed by a wall of stone.

After 500 meters of the walk up to the top of Mt Beerwah we faced a wall of stone. From a big path to a slippery, steep mountain wall... This was something we hadn't planned and not were prepered to face. We tried to climbe it but realised that if we contionued we may not be able to get down. It was really scarry and my heart started to beat faster and faster as higher up I got. We had to turn back, disappointed of course! Instead we drove to another, lower and more easy mountain to climbe. From this we could at least see the top of Mt Beerwah haha.

Five hourse later and with a much lower energy level we went to Caloundra, a city by the Sunshine Coast. There we lay down on the beach untill the sun wnt down behind the Glass House Mountains.

Perfect day even though we didn't reached the top!
